As mothers and wives, we often put the needs of our children and spouse first. However, we have to take care of ourselves to thrive as mothers and wives. We can’t pour into our family and friends if we’re pouring from an empty cup. A lot of the times we may feel bad for taking time for ourselves but in reality, if we don’t we can’t be our best selves.
What We’re Sipping On This Episode:
19 Crimes: Hard Chard – This Chardonnay may be the highest ABV we’ve had on the show! Coming in at 16% ABV, we had high hopes (or Shara did since it’s white wine). We didn’t realize that 19 Crimes made white wine. This “Chardonnay is filled with stone fruit aromas and a sweet textured palate...[with] hints of butterscotch and honey balanced with layers of ripe fruit [that] finishes with rich notes of butter and vanilla.” We know that Shara loves stone fruit and Sasha could definitely taste the butter finish.
About the Episode:
In this episode, we’re talking with guest Treanna Neufville of @Modernday_MakeupMommy about self-care and making yourself a priority. Treanna believes that when we invest in ourselves and show up for ourselves it makes us better in all facets of our lives.
Treanna is a wife, mother to 2 tween boys, and lover of all things beauty and self-care. “As a mom, we can get lost in the hustle and bustle of juggling motherhood, marriage, and career forgetting about ourselves. That was me, but not anymore! It’s impossible for us to be the best mom to our children if we aren’t being the best for ourselves first. When we invest in ourselves and show up for ourselves it makes us better in all facets of our lives. With the right lipstick, there isn’t anything mother can’t do!”
