Chrissy Sheffey, Charismatic Creations

Chrissy Sheffey, mixologist and owner of Charismatic Creations, is a Prince Georges County native, gardener, and community advocator. After working behind the bar for 4 years, she started her business because she wanted to be more impactful beyond the bar. Her business allows her to connect people through curated cocktail experiences and support local food systems that combat food insecurity with her hand-crafted cocktails and mixers. Her features on Fox 5 DC, Goodmorning Washington, Great Day Washington, and in the New York Times show people fun and fresh ways to craft aesthetically pleasing cocktails at home!

Niccara AKA ‘Nikki C’, Urban Charcuterie

Niccara is Cali-born, Baltimore-bred working in the political zoo that is DC. She likes to stay as caffeinated and fed as a Gilmore girl and approach everything with the strength of Regina King. Founded in 2015, Niccara created Sonny Langford LLC, named after the founder’s grandfather, Alvin ‘Sonny’ and the street she grew up on. Sonny Langford is an ode to her ancestors and her future. It houses the brands: Urban Tea, Urban Charcuterie, and Black Girls and Boards.
